Worthington dentists honored by Minnesota Dental Association – The Globe

MINNEAPOLIS — Drs. Grant and Maureen Sorensen had been honored with Minnesota Dental Association’s Remarkable Company Award for the duration of the association’s once-a-year conference April 29, at the St. Paul RiverCentre.

The Sorensens have been included in dentistry for 37 yrs. Following their 1984 graduation from the University of Minnesota College of Dentistry, they begun their individual dental practice in Worthington and have been leaders in the Southern District Dental Society and the Minnesota Dental Association. They both have, at separate occasions, served on the SDDS Government council and as the Southern District trustee to the MDA Board of Trustees.

They served on different MDA committees, like the previous Dental Apply and Operations Committee, the Legislative Affairs Committee, the Barriers to Care Committee, the Affinity Goods Committee (Maureen), and the Constitution, Bylaws and Ethics Committee (Grant). They have also volunteered for the annual Give Kids a Smile party and several Mission of Mercy events.

Prior to their retirement in 2021, they worked to recruit dentists to southwest Minnesota. They have mentored a lot of younger dentists and have organized innumerable district functions via the a long time.
