Stony Brook University appoints new School of Dental Medicine Dean
Stony Brook University has named Patrick M. Lloyd, DDS, MS, as Dean of the School of Dental Medication (SDM). Lloyd’s appointment, effective July 1, was declared by Hal Paz, MD, govt vice president of health sciences at Stony Brook University and chief executive officer, Stony Brook College Medication. Lloyd joins Stony Brook just after a ten years spent as the dean of the College or university of Dentistry at Ohio State University.
Dr. Lloyd succeeds Margaret M. McGovern, MD, PhD, who was named Interim Dean of the College of Dental Drugs on Dec. 1, 2021.
