Mega Senior Health Expo. The Mega Senior Health Expo will be held Tuesday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wickham Park Regional Pavilion located at 2500 Parkway Dr. in Melbourne. Seniors are able to speak with representatives about specific services, have their blood pressure and glucose measured, and receive literature on health and safety topics and more. A typical trip to a senior expo involves visiting the booths, speaking with knowledgeable representatives, collecting brochures and other items from the exhibitors, receiving free health screenings, socializing with other seniors, enjoying food, giveaways, refreshments, trying for door prizes and enjoying speakers and other entertainment. Grief Support & Recovery Group. The Grief Recovery Program creates a safe space for participants to discover helpful actions leading to completion of the pain, isolation or loneliness attached to loss of any kind. This six-session program will be facilitated by a highly experienced professional Bereavement Counselor and provided free of charge. All are welcome, no matter one’s loss or spiritual beliefs.
